The Boar Chase Route
The Chase starts at the show ground and follows the ancient deer path through to the bridleway heading west, it’s from here the hard work starts. It’s a gradual climb of 80 meters for approximately 4K with one or two sharp hill climbs, The bridleway passes through the wooded area of Hollybank and then onto the single mantel track heading up to Clint Bank. The climb continues up to Clint Grange Farm and then heads off for one kilometre of cross country. It’s at this point that the wind should be in your hair and a fast downhill 3K back to the showground.
